*Registration is closed for 2015*
Eat With Your Family Day 2015 is set to be on 29th May 2015.
More than 300 organisations, government bodies and schools have registered in support of this nation-wide event.
As usual we are asking organisations and schools to participate by allowing unrecorded time off for families to have a meal together. The general guideline is to allow staff to leave work by 5pm on 29th May 2015.
This means companies and schools should make a concerted effort not to hold meetings or activities that may last past 5pm.
Over the years, we have learnt that some companies have started their own practices for staff to have regular family meals. We are interested to know more about these instances, so we would love to hear from you on the family bonding efforts in your company. Share with us in this online registration.
Please indicate your organisation’s participation via our online registration.
Young NTUC is the youth wing of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). Since our founding in April 2005, Young NTUC has grown to over 180,000 working adults aged 35 years and below. As youths, we recognize that family is an important foundation block of our society. It is in the family unit where we are firmly rooted. Our families impact the society and the society affects our families. Hence,we constantly identify societal concerns and advocate positive changes, for our family unit, and for a better Singapore. This year, Young NTUC is proud to be the partner for “Eat with Your Family Day” and we urge companies to pledge their support to allow their employees to enjoy family time on this special day.
