Celebrating 25 Years of Fathering Impact: A Gala to Remember

On a momentous evening on 26 September 2025, Centre for Fathering marked its 25th Anniversary with a heartfelt Charity Gala Dinner, bringing together partners, supporters, and champions of families to celebrate a quarter-century of fathering impact in Singapore.

Held at Mandarin Oriental Hotel, the event was graced by our Guest of Honour, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry, Mr Gan Kim Yong. As a former Patron of CFF (2010s–2016), DPM Gan’s presence added a special layer of meaning to the occasion. In his keynote speech, he reaffirmed the importance of fatherhood, not just as a personal responsibility, but as a national priority with direct implications for societal well-being.

“Families are the bedrock of our society. They provide us with support, security and love, particularly when we are in trouble, facing challenging times. When families flourish, so does society.” said DPM Gan.

A highlight of the evening was DPM Gan’s signing of the SG60 Diamond Plate by Luzerne, an exclusive, limited-edition collector’s piece created to commemorate Singapore’s 60th anniversary. His signature not only honoured the moment, but also elevated the value of the item for auction, contributing meaningfully to CFF’s fundraising efforts.

Celebrating Legacy and Leadership

This Gala also marked a key leadership milestone as Mr Keith Magnus stepped down as Chairman of CFF after four years of service. A member of the Board since 2018, Mr Magnus has been instrumental in expanding CFF’s scale, forging strategic partnerships, and deepening its national influence. A special gift was presented to him in appreciation of his passion, conviction, and unwavering commitment to strengthening families through fathering.

A Night of Giving and Gratitude

Guests were treated to an evening of inspiration, jazz, and artistry. The programme featured:

  • A soulful performance by renowned jazz pianist Jeremy Monteiro and his band
  • A live sand art presentation that illustrated CFF’s 25-year journey
  • The unveiling of “Frames of Love”, honouring five fathers and volunteers whose stories reflect the heart of CFF’s mission

Thanks to the generous support of our guests and donors, we made significant progress toward our $2.5 million annual fundraising goal during the dinner through the charity auction, sure-win raffles, and direct donations.

As we celebrate this silver milestone, we remain committed to our mission of turning the hearts of fathers and children toward each other. With more than 15,000 new fathers every year, our work continues to grow in urgency and importance.
