Generations Pickleball

As families today navigate increasingly busy and digital lives, the need for meaningful, shared experiences has never been greater. Centre for Fathering (CFF) sees sport as a powerful way to bring families back together in simple, intentional ways.

That is why CFF has adopted pickleball as its signature family sport through its Generations Pickleball initiative. Easy to pick up, fast-paced, and highly engaging, pickleball creates natural opportunities for parents, children, and grandparents to connect through play.

CFF’s pickleball tournaments are designed to be inclusive yet engaging, with categories such as combined team ages under 80 and above 80, allowing different generations to compete meaningfully together. Participants typically take part as parent and child or grandparent and grandchild pairs, reinforcing intergenerational bonding on the same team.

More than just a game, pickleball offers a space where families can build teamwork, strengthen trust, and create lasting memories. Through a growing calendar of activities, CFF is expected to run 4 to 5 sessions and tournaments each year, bringing more families together through play.

Through these efforts, CFF is championing pickleball as an accessible and meaningful way to strengthen family bonds and promote active fatherhood across Singapore.
