The Centre for Fathering was founded by three young fathers - Raymond Koh, Wong Suen Kwong and Edwin Choy, who shared a deep conviction that a father’s involvement makes a difference in the development of their children.
This led them to set up a non-profit to pursue their vision of turning the hearts of children towards their fathers by inspiring fathers to be more involved with their children.
Over the past 20 years, Centre for Fathering has reached over 47,000 fathers through activities such father-child experiential programmes, shared parenting talks and fathering workshops conducted in schools, prisons, religious organisations and companies.
Each year, the organisation conducts over 150 programmes such as Adventure Camp with Dad, Breakfast with Dad, ICAN workshops and other parenting workshops.
Centre for Fathering has also reached out to underserved community groups such as parents of new-borns, ex-convicts, families in distress and youths at risk - benefitting 500 underprivileged and 120 incarcerated fathers with our programmes each year.
Since 2015, CFF has been the driving force behind DADs for Life - taking the movement to the next level in mobilising fathers to become more active and present for their children!
Please join us in celebrating the achievements of CFF over the last two decades and a future where fathers play an active role in the lives of their children!
We sincerely appeal for your generous support for our cause at the Centre for Fathering's 20th Anniversary Gala Dinner on 6th Nov 2020 at 7pm at The Fullerton Hotel.
DADs for Life was launched on 19 November 2009 in conjunction with International Men’s Day, with a mission to inspire, mobilise and involve fathers to become good influencers in their children’s lives for life. Since then, it has grown from into a national movement engaging over 250,000 families each year with initiatives such as Eat with Your Family Day, Back to School with Dad and Celebrating Fathers.
Celebrating Fathers 2020!
In light of the COVID-19 situation in Singapore, this year's Celebrating Fathers movement will take place entirely online - featuring a campaign where Dads are appreciated for everything they are doing for their families and our community, especially how they engage their children and thrive in this challenging season.
Themed Voices of Children, Celebrating Fathers 2020 will encourage children to show appreciation to Dads as they continue to do all the things that matter for their families and our community. The campaign aims to encourage fathers through the voices of their children, and with support from their spouses, to be the best father and husband they can be.

Every child needs a dad they can count on.
The research is clear: children thrive with an involved father—someone who loves, knows, guides and helps them achieve their destiny. We inspire and equip men to be the fathers their children need.
